Virtual Faith Formation Programs

HELLO, 2021!

What is your New Year’s Resolution? Want to learn more about our Catholic Faith? St. Mary and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are partnered and offer incredible opportunities. While both of these happen to be based in Ohio, these are world-renowned programs with participants from all over the globe. You may meet friends from UAE, South Africa, Australia, and even Cincinnati itself!

Does an interactive, structured, yet informal on-line setting…all from the comfort of your own home sound appealing to you? These may be exactly what you’ve been looking for!…
  • The first opportunity is The Virtual Learning Community for Adult Faith Formation (VLCFF) offered in conjunction with the University of Dayton. There are eight sessions year-round, with the next one beginning on January 3rd. The format includes interactive discussion boards and assigned readings. Check out their website and get yourself signed up! Most classes cost $50, but scholarships are available. Questions? Contact Annie at 321-1070 or anniebags@yahoo.com.
The second opportunity is Franciscan at Home, offered through Franciscan University in Steubenville. This format is completely at your own pace. Start these video-based courses at any time—many topics to choose from and instruction provided by top-notch professors.  There is no charge for these classes/workshops. Contact Michele Carle-Bosch at mbosch@smshp.com or 513-321-1207 x8401 for more information. Learn more HERE.
